IMPACT for Practitioners

The IMPACT programme of work is split into two phases. Four separate workstreams were conducted in Phase 1 and linked together to inform the development of the evidence based intervention in Phase 2.

Phase 1

The first four workstreams addressed:

  • Individuals - the experiences of people living with psoriasis
  • Clinicians - the difficulties faced by service providers
  • Population - the levels of co-morbidity risk within the population

Phase 2

One component of IMPACT’s Phase 2 intervention is the Pso Well training course designed for healthcare professionals who work with people with psoriasis. It is aimed at all healthcare practitioners who provide care for people with psoriasis including dermatology specialist clinicians and nurses, as well as primary care practitioners with and without a special interest in dermatology.
